Palpation Feedback

Vibration picked up at the fingertip, replayed at the temples — clinicians perceive contracture during palpation more clearly.

Contracture palpation depends on subtle vibrations the hand can barely resolve. We captured those vibrations at the fingertip and re-presented them at the temples, where bone conduction gives a cleaner channel.

Perceptual enhancement was measurable, and the approach generalises to any tactile skill where the informative signal sits near the threshold of the sensing site.
