振動触覚刺激における振幅変化知覚に関与するパラメータの検討
Abstract
The vibrotactile stimulus has been adopted in various fields for various reasons. However, the perception of vibrotactile intensity is known to be affected by waveform parameters other than amplitude. In this paper, we discuss what an appropriate amplitude transition is for evaluating the sensitivity level for the perception of transition. Especially by focusing on the transition, we adopted a transient, linear, and quadratic change; we conducted an experiment using the staircase method. The results showed that the transient change was the easiest to discriminate, and the linear and quadratic changes showed individual differences in discrimination tendencies.

Vibration Perceptual Mechanisms
Amplitude is not directly linked to intensity. A series of studies on how temporal factors such as, duration, damping and phase spectra change how strong a vibration feels.
